There’s something special about pitbulls.
Many people wrongly assume that all pits are aggressive and dangerous, but those who know them well know that they’re actually some of the most loyal and good-natured dogs around.
This is certainly true of Allister, an amazing pitbull who was recently saved from being euthanized.
Thanks to a kind-hearted stranger, Allister is now living a happy life full of love and adventure.
Read on to learn his inspiring story.
Allister is a red nose pitbull puppy with a very chill hippy personality.
He loves to play with other dogs and can be shy sometimes. Allister was rescued by a gentlemen who goes by the name Devin from an animal shelter that was going to euthanize him.
Devin took Allister in as his own and has been raising him since he was7 months old. Devin has been teaching Allister tricks and manners.
Allister is very food motivated so he learns things quickly. Some of his favorite tricks are “sit”, “paw”, and “spin”.
Allister loves to go on adventures, whether it’s going on a hike or just exploring the neighborhood. He is a very sweet dog who loves to give kisses.
Devin is currently working on teaching Allister how to fetch so they can play fetch together.
Allister is a fun-loving puppy who loves spending time with his human dad, Devin.
Devin and his business partner were in the middle of a photoshoot when his business partner’s fiance gave him a call.
She was begging them to come to an animal shelter in the valley to rescue a red nose pit puppy who was going to be euthanized within an hr. They stopped everything they were doing and had to postpone the shoot.
They rushed through traffic and arrived at the animal shelter with 10 minutes left. They have learned that Allister was mentally and physically abused by the previous owner who is now in jail.
Devin immediately fell in love with Allister and knew he had to save him. They filled out the paperwork and took Allister home.
Devin who trained and worked with dogs in the past turned Allister into a well-behaved dog.
He even participated in several photoshoots with Devin.
Allister’s story has inspired many people and he has become a symbol of hope for abused animals.
Devin saved Allister from being put down at an animal shelter and did all the paperwork and paid the fees to get him out.
When Allister got home, he was scared and timid of everything.
Devin engaged in rehabilitation and training with Allister for a few months.
Once he observed Allister’s improved demeanor, Devin got him a chiweenie therapy dog named Lilo.
Lilo loved people so much that when you take him to the dog park, he greets everyone before playing with the other dogs.
Devin’s neighbors were scared of Allister at first because they all believed Pitbulls are the most dangerous dogs in the world. After a year of training, everyone loved how well behaved he was.
This story is inspiring because it provides insight that all creatures have redeeming qualities if someone is willing to provide adequate rehabilitation, love, and care.
Another important element is that even those who may be skeptical or have preconceived notions can be won over with time, patience, and consistency.
Devin’s experience with Allister, his pitbull, has been a rewarding one.
Devin has worked with dogs in the past, so he was able to train Allister and help him relearn everything.
Allister is now a well-disciplined dog, and Devin has been able to prove to his neighbors that pitbulls are not bad breeds.
Walking Allister around the neighborhood has allowed Devin to meet more of his neighbors than he ever would have without a dog.
And despite what some people may think about pitbulls, Allister has never once shown any aggression.
All in all, adopting a pitbull has been a great experience for Devin.
If you’re considering adopting a dog, please don’t overlook the pitbull.
